The manager will have responsibility for coordinating and leading on
meaningful, person-centred supports and opportunities for young adults
with intellectual disabilities who reside in Cheeverstown Community
services. The post holder will demonstrate a clear commitment to
community integration and active citizenship for all people with
disabilities in the area of human rights and advocacy.
The manager will hold the responsibility of ?Person in Charge?
(PIC) or Person Participating in Management (PPIM) for a Designated
Centre(s) as per HIQA regulations.
The manager will participate in an operational governance roster for
community residential services supporting a progressive and dynamic
team.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and
have a minimum of 5 years post registration experience as a nurse in a
relevant area of practice
* Possess a management qualification.
* At least 3 years? supervisory / team leading experience
* Sound understanding of the legislative and policy framework
foundation and standards and best practice methodology that apply in
the disability sector
* Experience of community networking and good community connections
Driving is an essential role requirement therefore the candidate must
have a full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Flexibility in location within the Cheeverstown catchment area is
required.
Salary will be paid at Clinical Nurse Manager 2 scale as per current
Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales as relevant to
qualification of successful candidate.
